Crush vs His Enemy

By Aleksey Donahue, age 7. Aleksey tells a story about Crush, a powerful guard of the haunted forest who battles his enemy Earthquake in an epic showdown.

Crush is a guard of the haunted forest. He is 27 years old and extremely muscular, and has a crown instead of hair. He is covered in thick armor with diamond plates over this arms and heart. He guards the fairies and the forest, the fairies are his friends. He gets paid 300 dollars a week. If someone the fairies don’t want there comes into the forest anyway, he scares them off because he is so big and strong. One day, a bigger version of him appears through a huge portal. He was as big as half of a theater screen. He hit Crush in the face and ripped out the diamond on his heart that gave Crush his power. Crush was knocked out and got dragged away through the portal. Crush woke up in a dark bed rock. He tried to smash the rock, but noticed his diamond heart was gone.

Crush was too weak to smash the rock, but he noticed the ceiling was loose so he pushed it up. Then he climbed up and noticed a trap door. The trap door was sealed with bed rock but there was a big handprint in the middle. Crush had the technology to hack the handprint and swing open the door. The door opened with a long squeak and crashed down with a bang. It sounded like a loud gunshot went off. He came out into a big hallway filled with statues, one statue was of a person fighting a sea monster. At the end of the hallway there was a big wooden door. Behind the door he heard big bangs that sounded like many airplanes crashing into the same spot. Crush almost started to feel scared. He felt like there were loose screws falling into his engine.

“I AM STRONG, I AM STRONG,” he said to himself in his deep voice. He cracked open the door and peeked in, putting his eyes in binocular mode. He saw the person who stole his heart, drinking fuel and eating mashed screws glazed with extra oil. All of a sudden, his enemy started to grow. He grew to the size of an entire theater screen or an elephant.

I wish I could have just had a party today, Crush thought to himself. He saw his enemy open a box that was about the size of his diamond heart. When it opened Crush saw his diamond heart. He immediately got his energy and power back, but he still didn’t have his heart. That’s weird, he thought. In that second, Crush remembered the crystals on his arm. He ripped out both crystals, closed his eyes, and placed both where his heart used to be. Nothing happened. Oh no, I replaced my heart with two crystals and still nothing, he thought. All of a sudden, Crush falls to the ground. His enemy swings open the wide thick door.

“Well, well, well. If it isn’t that pesty little thing of junk I see, then who is it?” his enemy asked. “Oh! It is the pesty little thing of junk!”

All of a sudden, his enemy punches him in the face, knocking him out. Crush woke up strapped to a table made of bedrock. His enemy is sitting across the room at his big desk, watching him. The desk had legs made of iron and a surface made of smooth oak wood with a cherry scent. Crush pulled against the straps. “Let me out!” he yelled in a deep dark voice.

“My name is Earthquake,” his enemy says.

“Why did you bring me here?” Crush asked.

“I forced one of your fair friends to tell me about your precious little heart!”

“Who of my fairy friends would do such a thing?”

“I will,” says a light charming voice of Clody.

“I thought we were friends?” Crush asks.

“One time you knocked me over without ever seeing me,” says Clody.

“I am sorry. You don’t have to do this to me. Why, why?” Crush yells.

His enemy drags the table to a big dark room with two big circular saws. Crush says, “Haha. Two saws can’t hurt me! Only the Sawtooth Million Eight Point Seven can touch me.”

“Well, well, well. That’s why I have the Saw Two Thousand Infinity that can cut through anything–even diamond, iron, and heavy duty steel,” said Earthquake.

All the sudden, he sees that the table is on rocky, pointed diamonds. Crush also notices the strap on his wrist is loose, so he tries to break off a diamond part and he uses his mind to move the diamond point into his heart to replace the original. All the sudden, he gets power, grows bigger. They flies off of his arms and he begins to battle Earthquake. Crush turns into fighting mode. He looks different, but he is still the same Crush. Suddenly, the castle starts collapsing and Crush rushes out. He turns on airplane mode. Earthquake does the same thing. Crush has high-quality security to protect him when he is in plane mode. So does Earthquake! They are evenly matched.

Crush throws a heavy duty missile made of copper at Earthquake. Earthquake loses his security, reverts to normal mode, and goes crashing toward the ground. Crush comes after him and sees all of Earthquake’s armor breaking off. Underneath lies a human, with his eyes closed. He’s surrounded by flames, some of the flames are touching him. Crush starts to feel bad. He had never felt bad in his whole life. Crush rushes to help, but it was too late. Earthquake smashed into the fairy forest floor. Crush races towards the nearest magical store.

“Give me a supreme med kit NOW!” Crush yelled.

“Chill out, it’s only one buck!” said the fairy worker. He gave the money to the fairy and rushed back to where the human man lay burning. Crush noticed the fairy guards begin to approach and point their spears at Earthquake.

“STOP!!” Crush yelled. The guards stopped and retreated to the woods. He put the supreme med kit on Earthquake. Earthquake began to rise up. Then he became misty, fell back down, and woke up. He looked at the fire around him, and the broken trees.

“What happened?” he said. Then, he noticed Crush. “Ahhh!” he screamed.

“What’s your real name?” Crush asked. “I am . . . BROCK.”

“Nice to meet you, Brock,” Crush replied.
