about the issue

Foráneo is Lucky Jefferson‘s first Halloween-inspired issue that celebrates 9 Latin-American and Latin-identifying writers, poets, and artists, each of them inviting strangeness and fear of the unknown into their work.

As a Peruvian, I’m incredibly grateful and proud of bringing everyone together. They’re all from different countries and cultures, and their camaraderie has brought them together for this issue.

The voices of Latin American artists continue to be shared around the world for everyone to see. May this Halloween be remembered as the day you were introduced to these amazing artists and began to follow their journeys.
