Kagomé the half demon half ghost did her lay and closed eyes preparation at 1:00 AM (she can’t sleep because she is a ghost in an eternal sleep). She finishes her prep by 1:20 AM and lays on the air and closes her eyes.
Hours pass, and Kagomé wakes as her favorite animal! A black and white Japanese dragon!! She tries to walk to her mirror but loses balance and falls.
“What the–” Kagomé whispered to herself trying not to wake her queen whose name was Lady Yura. But she did not succeed to be quiet and fell again, waking Lady Yura.
“Kagomé my princess are you all right?” Lady Yura whispered to Kagomé. “Huh!” Lady Yura gasped as she saw her daughter as a dragon. “It was tonight!” Lady Yura said surprised.
“What was tonight?” asks Kagomé, confused.
“On your birthday, you know how I told you that after your sixteenth birthday, the moon would turn the exact color of your royal blood (the lightest possible pink). And that once it did, you would turn to your soul animal. It was tonight!”
“Wait a second how long does this last?” Kagomé asked.
“I’m afraid to say, but every 200 years, a mother and a daughter is chosen to have a full year of transformation when they are sixteen. We got chosen. You’ll be a dragon till this exact day next year,” Lady Yura said.
“WHAT?!” Kagomé yelled.
