Little Jefferson publishes exceptional work created by young writers (ages 9-13) in partnership with after-school writing programs, classroom settings, and youth arts organizations.
Little Jefferson is not open to individual submissions. We partner with schools, educators, and youth organizations to publish work emerging from their writing programs.
Our partnerships celebrate pieces that might otherwise never reach a wider audience, highlighting the creativity of young writers while supporting the educators and organizations giving them the space to explore creative expression.
