Lucky Jefferson’s Creative Arts Program was created to foster real-world educational opportunities outside of the classroom and explore the intersection of art and literature.
• Rendering illustrations using diverse mediums (watercolor, animation, ink, etc.)
• Generating creative awareness about published works and Lucky Jefferson
• Typography, pattern making, and different methods of illustrating literature
• Formulating creative concepts and direction for special publication projects
• Digital collaboration with other artists and students

Students develop new skills and a deeper understanding of publishing, your own aesthetic or writing style, and concepts learned in the classroom through hands-on application and collaboration. Plus:
Completing an internship with Lucky Jefferson is an experience that can be applied to a capstone, externship, or service-learning.
Illustrations and content are designed around a variety of subjects and themes.
Students work closely with us on print and digital collections.
